Chris Kanyon vs William Regal. 

Match Background: William Regal beat Chris Kanyon last week to earn a shot at the WWE Hardcore Championship against Balls Mahoney at Backlash. Balls is providing commentary for this match.

Late In The Match: William Regal slams Kanyon, who rolls onto his stomach. What is Chris Kanyon doing? William Regal picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. He raises Kanyon up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by his opponent in the process! Chris Kanyon is on top! 1....2....3! Looking at the replay, it appears that Kanyon had taken a chain out of his tights and wrapped it around his fist! William Regal must have been punched with that chain while in mid-powerbomb! What a cheap shot! Balls Mahoney leaves the commentator booth with a chair. Kanyon turns and takes a brutal shot to the head. Regal is next to take a hard shot. Balls has demolished everyone!

Match Background: This will be a special guest referee bout. Stacy Keibler will be the referee for this match. This is a continuation of the Rhyno vs Test feud. 

Late In The Match: Test is in control. Stacy Keibler comes up behind...low blow! Test collapses to the floor. Rhyno takes the advantage. Rhyno moves in for the kill. Gore! 1....2....3. Stacy Keibler nails an unsuspecting Test with a forearm to the face. Test is in trouble. Spinning Heel Kick! Stacy Keibler leaves Test down on the canvas, hurt.

Late In The Match: Scott Steiner comes running down the aisle with a chair! A-Train and Big Show continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Scott Steiner slides in and prepares to swing the chair...but Big Show moves! Steiner accidentally blasts A-Train with a chair to the head! Big Show throws Steiner out of the ring! A-Train can barely stand. Here it comes - Show Stopper. 1....2...3, it's finished. A-Train \ Steiner are beating down on Big Show! The music of Scott Hall hits, and he comes running down the aisle into the ring. A-Train and Steiner bail out of the ring, leaving Big Show down in the ring. Scott Hall may have saved Big Show from a brutal beating.

Late In The Match: Tommy Dreamer comes running down the aisle with a chair! Kane goes to irish whip Triple H into the ropes. Dreamer prepares to swing the chair...but Triple H reverses! Dreamer accidentally smacks Kane with a chair to the back! Triple H moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Pedigree. 1....2...3, it's finished. Triple H fights back, and has soon sent both Kane and Tommy Dreamer into retreat.

Late In The Match: Rob Van Dam comes running down the aisle and into the ring! While Angle distracts the ref, Randy Orton turns around. Rob Van Dam slams Orton down. Rob Van Dam climbs to the top rope and hits the Five Star Frog Splash! RVD leaves the ring, the damage done! ONE...TWO...THREE. Angle defeats Orton. Angle and RVD are putting the boots to Randy Orton! John Cena comes running down the aisle with a chair! He slides in, sending Angle \ RVD running for cover. John Cena saved Orton from a major beating.

Chris Jericho is standing in the set for his personal interview segment. He announces that tonight's guest is Shawn Michaels, who comes out from the back. They do a straight interview, but it is ended abruptly when Christian comes out of nowhere and attacks Shawn Michaels. The brawl is swift and violent, and ends with Michaels down and out on the floor of the set. Christian signals for the timekeeper to ring the bell, as they are now supposed to have a match!

Late In The Match: Shawn Michaels has Christian down on the canvas and is ascending the corner. Diving Elbow Drop!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over. Muhammed Hassan comes running down the aisle with a chair and into the ring! Michaels turns...and narrowly avoids vicious chair shot! Shawn Michaels spins Hassan around. Shawn Michaels hits the Sweet Chin Music! Shawn Michaels has left Hassan down on the canvas.

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. Balls Mahoney is the reigning WWE Hardcore champion, and has been since 23 March 2005. If Kanyon wins this match, he will be added to the WWE Hardcore Championship match at Backlash.

Late In The Match: Kanyon chair shots Balls Mahoney. Balls Mahoney uses a big bag of popcorn to floor Kanyon. I wonder if butter adds impact. William Regal comes running down the aisle with a chair! Balls goes to irish whip Chris Kanyon into the ropes. Regal prepares to swing the chair...but Chris Kanyon reverses! Regal accidentally smacks Balls with a chair to the back! Balls Mahoney can barely stand. Here it comes - I'm Betta Than You. 1....2...3, it's finished. Balls Mahoney slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Regal turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.

Bad Ass \ Bubba are arguing backstage when they get ambushed from behind by La Resistance, who beat them down with chairs. After a short attack, Bad Ass and Bubba have been left down and hurt on the concrete floor. La Resistance shout in English and French something about facing them and their partners in a Triangle match at Backlash for the WWE Tag Team titles!

A-Train vs D-Von Dudley. 

Late In The Match: A-Train signals for the Derailer! Scott Hall comes out of the crowd! He grabs the leg of A-Train and drags him out of the ring. The referee has no option but to call for the DQ! Meanwhile, A-Train gets sent crashing into the ring post! Scott Hall pushes the referee aside, then continues to assault A-Train! Right hands rain down on A-Train, pounding him into the canvas. Satisfied with his work, Scott Hall turns and leaves the ring, the damage done.

Big Show is ready though, and strikes first! Big Show spins Steiner around. Big Show hits the Show Stopper! Scott Steiner has been left down on the canvas. The attempted ambush has backfired.

Carlito Caribbean Cool is standing in the set for his personal interview segment. He announces that tonight's guest is Triple H, who comes out from the back. They try to do a straight interview, but the constant taunts from Carlito soon annoy HHH, and he turns to leave...only to get attacked from behind with a metal bar that was part of the set! Carlito Caribbean Cool then takes a bit of an apple from his pocket, spits in in Triple H's face, and leaves his guest down and hurt on the floor.

Late In The Match: Rob Van Dam runs down the aisle and into the ring, carrying a chair! HHH turns...and gets floored with a chair to the head! The referee has no choice but to call for the bell! Disqualification! Kane and RVD are putting the boots to Triple H! Randy Orton comes running down the aisle with a chair! He slides in, sending Burn Victims running for cover. Randy Orton saved HHH from a major beating.

Meanwhile, Test gets sent crashing into the ring post! Test goes on the rampage, firing off stiff shots to both Rhyno and Chris Jericho, who take the hint and swiftly leave the ring for their own safety.
