Match Background: This will be an elimination bout. This match is for the WWE Intercontinental title. Eugene has been WWE Intercontinental champion since 15 December 2004. 

During The Match: Northern Lights Bomb very nearly crushes the spine of Kanyon! The ref gets into position, administers the three count, and it's over. Eugene pins Kanyon. Death valley driver by John Bradshaw Layfield! No one executes that move properly anymore. The ref gets into position, administers the three count, and it's over. John Bradshaw Layfield pins Test. John Bradshaw Layfield is in trouble. Stone Cold Stunner! 1....2....3.

Match Background: Show and Undertaker have been feuding recently. 

Late In The Match: Show reverses an irish whip...and The Undertaker runs into the referee! Big Show knocks Undertaker to the outside, then signals for the Show Stopper. He reaches out of the ring for The Undertaker...and gets clobbered with the ring bell! Right to the head! The referee looks up to see Undertaker sliding in and making the pinfall. The referee calls for the bell though! He's disqualifying The Undertaker, he must have seen the ring bell shot! The match is over. The fight has started up again! Big Show attacks Undertaker, and they brawl all around ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting.

Chris Jericho is standing in the set for his personal interview segment. He announces that tonight's guest is The Hurricane, who comes out from the back. They do a straight interview, but it is ended abruptly when Kane comes out of nowhere and attacks The Hurricane. The brawl is swift and violent, and ends with Hurricane down and out on the floor of the set. Kane walks off, having made his point.

Match Background: This match is for the World Heavyweight title. Kane has been World Heavyweight champion since 22 December 2004. 

Late In The Match: Chris Jericho comes running down the aisle with a chair! Kane whips The Hurricane into the ropes. Jericho jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Jericho, Hurricane, and the chair! The Hurricane staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Kane and Jericho are beating the hell out of The Hurricane! Triple H sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with Kane, exchanging punches! He goes down quickly though when Jericho clips the knee from behind! Kane \ Jericho put the boots to Triple H, and leave him down on the canvas next to The Hurricane. What a demolition!

Rob Van Dam has Edge down on the canvas and is ascending the corner. Off the top - Split Legged Moonsault, forget about it. 1....2...3! Edge and Christian are beating the hell out of Rob Van Dam! Booker T sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with Edge, exchanging punches, while Rob Van Dam comes back, sending Christian out of the ring with a clothesline. Booker T and RVD have cleared the ring, driving off Edge and Christian!

Late In The Match: Shawn Michaels slams Poppa Pump, who rolls onto his stomach. What is Scott Steiner doing? Shawn Michaels picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. He raises Poppa Pump up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by his opponent in the process! Scott Steiner is on top! 1....2....3! Looking at the replay, it appears that Poppa Pump had taken a chain out of his tights and wrapped it around his fist! Shawn Michaels must have been punched with that chain while in mid-powerbomb! What a cheap shot!

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. This is an opening round match in the new WWE Hardcore Championship Tournament. 

During The Match: Kanyon eats a trash can, but not the contents in it, obviously. Chris Kanyon slams Billy onto a trash can lid. Billy slams Chris Kanyon onto the table. Billy Gunn tries to get a big slam, but it is blocked when Kanyon goes to the eyes! Chris Kanyon quickly scores with a field-goal kick between the legs! Billy Gunn collapses! The referee didn't see the illegal blow! 1...2...3! Billy Gunn got screwed! Chris Kanyon leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Kanyon has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Billy Gunn to look for revenge.

During The Match: Rico whips Batista into the turnbuckles...and the ref is crushed! Cover, but there's no one to count for Rico! Batista throws Rico into a shopping trolley. Batista gets splashed through a table by Rico. Batista moves in for the kill. Sitout Powerbomb!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Batista slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Rico turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.

Late In The Match: Test uses a big bag of popcorn to floor Hall. I wonder if butter adds impact. Test eats a trash can, but not the contents in it, obviously. Hall gets thrown over the table. Test is in trouble. Outsider's Edge!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Test gives a murderous look toward Scott Hall...and attacks! Hall gets dropped to the canvas, then battered with a barrage of rights and lefts. Test picks him up...and launches him over the top rope to the outside. A small measure of revenge has been taken.

Late In The Match: Frying pan shot by Rhyno. A-Train chair shots Rhyno. A-Train is in trouble. Here it comes - Gore. 1....2...3, it's finished. I don't think the fight has finished. A-Train and Rhyno have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view.

Undertaker and JBL are beating the hell out of Eugene! Big Show sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with The Undertaker, exchanging punches, while Eugene comes back, sending JBL out of the ring with a clothesline. Show \ Eugene have cleared the ring, driving off Undertaker and JBL!

Late In The Match: The Hurricane comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Jericho turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by Hurricane! The Hurricane has left Jericho in big trouble. Chris Jericho can barely stand. O-Zone! 1....2....3. The Hurricane pushes the referee aside, then continues to assault Jericho! Right hands rain down on Chris Jericho, pounding him into the canvas. Satisfied with his work, The Hurricane turns and leaves the ring, the damage done.

Match Background: This will be a 2 on 1 handicap bout. Edge and Christian are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Booker T and RVD and Edge and Christian have been feuding recently. Edge and Christian have yet to beat their rivals in the ring since the feud began. Edge and Christian are the reigning World Tag Team champions, and have been since 13 December 2004. If Booker T loses, he will be suspended.

Edge and Christian attack, brutally beating Booker T down to the canvas. After a few minutes, Rob Van Dam, wearing his street clothes, comes running out with a chair, and hits the ring. Christian lures him into taking a wild swing, which leaves RVD open to a blindside attack from Edge. Soon, Booker T and RVD are both lying on the canvas, having been beaten down by Edge and Christian.

Kane and Scott Steiner vs The KLIQ II. 

Match Background: This is a continuation of the Kane vs HHH feud. HHH has yet to get an in-ring victory in this feud. Kane is the reigning World Heavyweight champion, and has been since 22 December 2004. 

Late In The Match: Ric Flair has climbed up onto the apron! HHH turns...and falls for the distraction! Kane attacks HHH from behind! Kane moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Tombstone. 1....2...3, it's finished. The KLIQ II look like they aren't done...and they attack Kane \ Poppa Pump! After an exchange of blows, Kane and Poppa Pump are laid out in the ring.
