Match Background: This will be an elimination bout. Inoue is making her debut at this show. This match is for the WWE Women's title. Gail Kim has been WWE Women's champion since 10 November 2004.
During The Match: Jazz walks into a drop toe hold. Swan dive headbutt from Lita but without much elevation on the move. The ref gets into position, administers the three count, and it's over. Lita pins Jazz. Gail Kim hits an arm drag on Inoue, follows it up with about 3 more and locks in an armbar for good measure. Gail Kim with an enziguri! HBK isn't moving...uh oh. Late In The Match: Scott Hall slams Christian, who rolls onto his stomach. What is Christian doing? Scott Hall picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. He raises Christian up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by his opponent in the process! Christian is on top! 1....2....3! Looking at the replay, it appears that Christian had taken a chain out of his tights and wrapped it around his fist! Scott Hall must have been punched with that chain while in mid-powerbomb! What a cheap shot! Edge and Christian remain in the ring, celebrating their victory.
