Match Background: This will be an elimination bout. The winner will face Big Show for the WWE Intercontinental title on Heat.
During The Match: Scott Steiner scores with a big spinebuster. ONE...TWO...THREE. Poppa Pump defeats Blackman. Kane slugs Scott Steiner, sending him down into the corner. While Kane fires up the crowd, Poppa Pump is removing the turnbuckle pad! Kane comes over...but Poppa Pump grabs him by the tights and uses the leverage to slingshot Kane face first into the exposed steel turnbuckle! Scott Steiner rolls up the stunned Kane: 1....2...3! How did the referee not see that?

Late In The Match: Christian grapples with Rob Van Dam, and positions himself so that the referee can't see...and hits a low blow! He rolls up the stunned Rob Van Dam: 1....2....3!! What a cheap shot! The fight has started up again! Christian \ Venis attacks RVD \ Richards, and they brawl all around ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting.

Late In The Match: John Bradshaw Layfield comes running down the aisle with a chair! HHH goes to irish whip Shawn Michaels into the ropes. JBL jumps onto the apron with the chair...but Shawn Michaels reverses! Collision between JBL, HHH, and the chair! Triple H staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Triple H looks unhappy at that defeat. Ric Flair walks over to say something...straight into a kick to the gut! Piledriver! Flair got planted. HHH leaves the ring.

Match Background: Demolition are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion.
Late In The Match: While Smash fires up the crowd, Test is removing the turnbuckle pad! Smash comes over...but Test grabs him by the tights and uses the leverage to slingshot Smash face first into the exposed steel turnbuckle! Test rolls up the stunned Smash: 1....2...3! How did the referee not see that? I don't think the fight has finished. Demolition and Test \ Venis have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view.

Eugene has been floored after the match.
