Contract

These were the contents of the DSW contract.

I, who have signed the contract, have agreed to the following Dark Side Wrestling terms & conditions, under penalty of being suspended from any future Dark Side Wrestling events, and legal action, since this is a legally binding contract. I agree that if any disputes over terms of this contract are brought up in a court of law, the statements in this contract will hold true. Webster’s dictionary defines a contract as a legal agreement.

  1. I am wrestling at my own risk, and I agree that I can not sue any of the other people who have signed this contract due to an obvious accidental injury they have caused me during the match I have agreed to wrestle in.
  2. If I'm obviously purposely injured at any time during a Dark Side Wrestling event by any of the other people who have signed this contract, I can sue the person(s) directly involved with my injury.
  3. I will get along well with all of the other people who have signed this contract as long as I am in the area of a Dark Side Wrestling event. My attitude will be completely professional under penalty of suspension or any greater punishment.
  4. I agree that at least 1 day's notice will be given to any of the Dark Side Wrestling event contacts if I'm unable to attend an event. This information if sent through e-mail must be sent at least 24 hours before an event to Dark Forsaken. If I do not give sufficient notice, I know I will be suspended for a month, then put on probation.
  5. I will not consume any alcoholic beverages the day of an event until after the event is over.
  6. I agree that if this contract is not signed, then I will not be allowed to participate in any Dark Side Wrestling events. There may be certain exceptions to the rule, however, if stated only by the Founders of Darkness.
  7. If I am crowned a champion in Dark Side Wrestling, and receive a championship belt, if I manipulate, steal or misplace the title belt, I will legally have to pay the exact amount determined by the Founders of Darkness.
  8. I have not been promised, nor do I expect, Dark Side Wrestling to elevate my wrestling career. I'm just in it for fun.
  9. The following apply in matches, unless stated before the match:
        1) If I submit by at least 3 taps on the ground, or say “I give up” or anything along those lines, I will lose the match.
        2) Officials have the final call and can not actively get involved with the wrestlers in the match.
        3) If I attack officials or spectators, it's an immediate disqualification.
        4) Use of foreign objects in the ring causes an immediate disqualification.
        5) If I hold down my opponent's shoulders for 3 seconds, that pinfall will be my victory.
        6) Officials decide disqualifications.
        7) Unprovoked outside interference will be obliterated by officials.
        8) If I am hit with my opponent's finishing move at a considerable amount of time into the match, I will stay down for at least 7 seconds unless there was an agreement beforehand.
        9) If I am hit with a reasonable weapon when the referee doesn't notice (believably) at a considerable amount of time into the match, I will stay down for at least 7 seconds unless there was an agreement beforehand.
        10) If I actually bleed at any time during the match via "juicing", I will be disqualified.

Contract created Thursday, March 26, 1998 and revised on May 31, 2000. Any additions will go through the Founders of Darkness, and they have the right of authority to add any terms they wish. If I want to make any arguments or additions, I must discuss them with the Founders of Darkness.
